Packing Service Minimum

Econoship can provide a packing service in most locations in Japan. The fee for packing is 39,000 yen per day. There is also a two-cubic-meter  minimum for shipments that include a packing service. Those needing assistance in packing will be charged for two cubic meters even if the Official Measurements for the shipment are less than that amount. Please contact our office for details.

If you send us an Econoship Application Form, and set a pickup date with us, we will send you 3 small, 4 medium, and 3 large size boxes free of charge.  Normally these strong, 8 mm boxes would cost 5,900 yen, including delivery. How to Measure Your Shipment


To calculate the size of a box in cubic measure, multiply the height by the width by the depth.

For example, if  the height is 35 cm (.35 meter), the width is 45 cm (.45 meter), and the depth is 35 cm (.35 meter), the size equals 0.0551of a cubic meter (.35 x .45 x .35 = 0.0551 of a cubic meter). Eighteen boxes of this size will be approximately equivalent to one cubic meter (0.0551x 18 = 0.9923 of a cubic meter).
